Pauline Zulu

Senior Practice Nurse

Pauline graduated from Chipata School of Nursing with an Enrolled Nursing Certificate in 1996 and her first posting was at Senanga District Hospital in Western Province. She later moved to Kafue District, where she gained vast experience in general nursing through rotations at Kafue Estates, Nangongwe and Railway Town clinics. She joined Pendleton Children’s Clinic in 2009 and later upgraded her diploma to Registered Nurse at Chreso University in 2020. As Pendleton added Electroencephalography (EEG) services at the Practice, Pauline further pursued a diploma as an EEG technician from the Neuro EEG institute of Wisconsin.
As part of her continuous career development, she is certified in Infant and Child Nutrition, Counselling, Child Growth Assessment, Expanded Programme for Immunisations (EPI) Country Mid-Level Management, Lung Function Testing (Spirometry) and Asthma Care. She has also attained Basic Life Support (BLS) training with the Society of Anaesthetists of Zambia. Pauline is passionate about working with children and enjoys counselling and advising parents on successful breastfeeding, growth monitoring and vaccinations.

Caroline Kangwa

Practice Nurse

Caroline is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse. She graduated from Ndola school of nursing and midwifery in 2020 with a diploma in Registered Nursing.
She has also attained Basic Life Support (BLS) training with the Society of Anaesthetists of Zambia. She joined Pendleton Children’s Clinic initially as a Locum Nurse but then became a full-time team member in September 2023. In her practice
at Pendleton, she has gained so much knowledge on triaging and handing emergencies, growth monitoring and vaccinations, creating a good nurse-patient and nurse-parent relationship, and child health and child advocacy. She is passionate
about working with children. In her free time, she enjoys making new friends and shopping.

Christine Fungai Daka

DIP Registered Nurse / Midfwife

Practice Nurse

Christine have been with Pendleton Children’s Clinic since 2021. She graduated with an advanced diploma in Nursing and midwifery from Lusaka Schools of Nursing andMidwifery in 2019. During her training, she gained vast experience in providing
quality holistic nursing care to clients, critically ill patients, new-born babies and their families. She performed nursing procedures and advised families and clients on making informed decisions regarding their health. She also gave guidance on how to take care of themselves and their loved ones after hospital stay. She has obtained Basic Life Support training with the Society of Anaesthetists of Zambia. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family.
